This shot from the campaign shows much of Honshu, the main island of Japan. To the lower left is the Osaka-Kyoto area, in the lower right Tokyo Bay. The densely packed network of Japanese cities is clearly visible, and demonstrates well the type of problems you will encounter in the Pacific Tide campaign.
For example it should be clear that a strategic bombing campaign against Japan will be no easy thing. The many locations almost all have some target of value, and you can see that you will have to reduce far more than the half dozen key cities most games include to be successful in such an attack.
